The City Manager serves as Chief Administrative and Executive Officer of the City of Bloomfield Hills. The City Manager is appointed by, and serves at the pleasure of the elected City Commission.

The city of Bloomfield Hills employs one part-time ordinance officer. The purpose of this position is to let owners and occupants know of any issues that may violate city ordinance and when necessary initiate enforcement action.
