July 26, 2019
The infrastructure work continues with the water main installation on Chesterfield Road. Crews will be working Saturday, July 27th.
Due to the narrow width of the road, there may be times when the contractor must enact intermittent road closures on Chesterfield Road. The crews will make every effort to move equipment and provide access when traffic approaches. Please contact the onsite field representative should you have specific construction or site access concerns.
Now that Consumer's Energy has moved on from their project in this area, residents on Lakewood will notice stakes beginning to be placed to layout the water main infrastructure. It is important these stakes remain in place until such time as they are removed by the contractor.
Anyone not already receiving the weekly e-newsletters on the road construction projects should send their name, address and email address to City Clerk Amy Burton at email@example.com to be added to the confidential email database. We are committed to communicating with residents with timely and relevant updates on the projects in your area. Our website is also updated with all the construction news from projects around the City. The Chesterfield / Lakewood project updates can be found on the homepage of the City's website at www.bloomfieldhillsmi.net under the 2019 -2020 Road to Improvement tab.
Thank you for your understanding during this construction project.
