Coronavirus Precautions
The City of Bloomfield Hills has implemented the following measures to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus:
- City Offices, except for the Public Safety Department lobby, are closed to the general public. All city services can be accomplished via phone, email or the city’s website. City staff is prepared and organized to provide services without direct contact with the public. If you need to deliver documents to the City, please use the drop box located outside of the entrance to City Hall or items relating to city business may also be left in the Public Safety Department lobby.
- All public meetings in the City offices that are not required by the City Charter have been cancelled until further notice. The City will work to accommodate all non-required meetings through remote teleconferencing.
- Public meetings that are required by the City Charter will be continually evaluated for compliance with the current CDC and State of Michigan guidelines for public gatherings to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- While we serve our residents and business owners through response from our Public Safety Department, be assured the Department is following all federal, state and local guidelines to ensure the most appropriate medical protocols are in place.
We appreciate your understanding during this unusual time. As the situation is constantly evolving, we will continue to communicate through our e-newsletter and our website will be updated in a timely manner as information is available.
