Demolition Permits

Permit Requirements
The following items are required to be submitted by the owner or the owner's agent for a demolition project:
  • Approved disconnect notices from all utilities:
    • Electric
    • Gas
    • Sewer
    • Telephone
    • Water
  • A survey of the property to be demolished.
  • A soil erosion permit from the MDEQ
  • A completed application with appropriate fees.
As the general contractor, it is your responsibility to monitor continued compliance by the subcontractors performing the demolition work.
