Voting Absentee

Absentee voting is a two-step process. For every election, a qualified voter must complete and return to the clerk an Application for an Absentee Ballot. After the city clerk receives the application, an absentee ballot will be issued. All absentee ballots must be returned to the clerk’s office by 8:00pm on Election Day. If you would like to receive an absentee ballot application automatically for all elections, please contact the clerk’s office to check for eligibility.

If you have any questions regarding your voter registration, please call the clerk’s office at (248) 644-1520.

You can check your voter registration status and precinct location on the State of Michigan website.
