Join the Bloomfield Hills Election Team

We welcome residents to join the panel of election inspectors to serve the City of Bloomfield Hills at both our precinct locations and in the absentee counting board on Election Day. 


  • Election Day work hours for election inspectors is from 6:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. 
  • Assist voters in the election day process
  • Process absentee ballots
  • Tally the precinct results

 Please complete this application and return it to City Clerk Amy Burton at 

  • Must be a registered voter in the State of Michigan
  • Must declare your political party affiliation
  • Must successfully complete an election inspector training session

Election inspectors will be paid for their day’s work by the City of Bloomfield Hills and will receive a stipend for the completion of the training class.
